Richard Stallman
Linux is a free open-source operating system that now is threatened by a group of hackers lead by eccentric anticorporate software developer Richard Stallman. Stallman views corporations as "evil...enemies of freedom" because the copyright everything instead of giving it away.
Stallman and the group supporting him are seriously threatening the very backbone of companies like IBM. If Stallman gets his way, companies would be forbidden from selling any software that contains even a single line of Linux code. He may very well get his way because Linux have copyright infringement rules set and licensing laws which back his movement.
The scariest part of this is that some people believe Stallman and his support group may start (or already have started) to hack the Linux code. No one can be sure yet, but we'll be sure to keep our eyes and ears to the ground.
