Google Labs is working on a search engine for developers to find source code that's available to the public. What does this mean for the real world? This will only help to drive developement costs down and make developers better and more efficient. I wouldn't expect this Google search engine to make a major impact any time soon, but this is another sign that source code is becoming more accessible, which means savings for the end consumer.
